T.C Kutahya Dumlupinar University Disabled Students Unit; Pursuant to the 8 th article of the Regulation on Consultation and Coordination of Higher Education Institutions Disabled People, which came into force after being published in the Official Gazette dated June 20, 2006 and numbered 26204, It was established.

Paragraph 1 of Article 11 of Higher Education Institutions' Disability Solidarity and Coordination Regulation amended by the regulation published in the Official Gazette no. Pursuant to the Rector's Office, a Disabled Students Unit was established on 02/05/2013 with the office of Rectorate no.

T.C Kütahya Dumlupınar University Disabled Students Unit; The aim of this course is to identify the difficulties that students with disabilities, who are enrolled in our university, who have registered for the new school year or who will come to our university in the coming years, may face difficulties in their learning life, city-campus transportation and dormitory life due to their obstacles, to determine what needs to be done and to help provide a higher education life free of obstacles.

T.C Kutahya Dumlupınar University Disabled Students Unit's scope of service; Our unit will try to provide not only disabled students but also instructors and staff in the same direction. If a visible or invisible health problem prevents our student's academic or social life at Dumlupınar University, the student is disabled.

The obstacle groups that we may encounter are as follows.
· Visually Impaired
· Physically Handicapped (Orthopedic)
· Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
· Learning Difficulties
· Psychiatric / Psychological Problems
· Speech and Language Problems
· Deaf and Deafness
· Traumatic Brain Injuries
· Other groups of disabilities (such as chronic diseases)

It is the decision of the student to declare his / her disability to T.C Kutahya Dumlupınar University Disabled Students Unit. Students with Disabilities Students can be supported only in the direction of their wishes. Our unit will still try to identify our disabled students and will try to eliminate the obstacles that will come before them in their academic and social lives.

Creating a barrier-free university environment that includes individuals with disabilities and everyone requires the participation of every individual in our environment.
